Welcome to another week that's bursting with great deals and random retro recollections of mine. Speaking of older collections, that Yakuza bundle is a no-miss offer on PC. I'm also all about Armored Core VI going mighty cheap on consoles, plus reduced Switch Pro Controllers are quite the pro-position, too. Those deals and more awful wordplay await you below!
In retro news, I’m writing in a big “19” card for the PlayStation Portable, a handheld powerhouse that many of us played the absolute analog nub off of. I dropped 429 dollarydoos ($699 today) on a launch Value Pack and was well stoked to be playing on-the-go via that 4.3-inch LCD. Yes, its UMD load times were not ideal and Memory Stick Duos were pricey for their low MBs, but I felt way more smitten than bitten with Ridge Racer, WipEout Pure, and the sheer addiction of Lumines. Top machine.
